Whatley's started with a simple idea: a proper neighbourhood bar that takes its drinks seriously and itself a little less so. Good spirits, honest pours, a kitchen that keeps you there one more round, and staff who remember how you take it.
We're not chasing trends. We're after the thing every good local has — the feeling that you've walked into the right room.
What we care about
Fresh over fussy. Generous over precious. We squeeze the juice, cut the ice, and pick wines and taps we'd happily drink ourselves. The food is made to share and the music's kept at a level where you can still hear the story.
Above all, it's the people — behind the bar and on the other side of it — that make Whatley's what it is.
